Thanks for checking out my site. I'm a freelance composer & sound designer, currently based in Nottingham, UK (I'm originally from Mousehole in Cornwall).

 

I've been a composer and sound designer for video games for 20 years, but I've been crazy for game and film music since I was a teeny little kid staying inside playing The Last Ninja on my Commodore 64 in the summer, and lying in the snow with my friends building Echo Base from Star Wars in the winter.

I've been lucky enough to work on some really awesome games including Deathloop, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Cyberpunk 2077, Wolfenstein, Sonic The Hedgehog, Star Wars, Aliens V Predator, Timesplitters, Crysis and Star Citizen.

I've also had many unique and wonderful experiences as a musician over the years, playing in my industrial synthpop band Goteki, and spending many years working with new romantic pop legend Steve Strange, playing synth and guitar and writing with him for his project Visage (famous for their biggest hit "Fade to Grey". Steve sadly passed away 2 years ago.

I try to challenge myself by composing in as many styles as possible, but I have a particular love for deep tonal synths mixed with piano & strings. Composers such as Nick cave, Clint Mansel and Trent Reznor have had a particularly big influence on my style. I enjoy working in any genre, but I'm a horror and sci-fi nerd, so those areas give me extra tingles.
